This page is about a spiritual journey to find connections in Nature. It began in Kakadu National in 2002 where, between the state of waking and dreaming, I had visions of spirit animals inhabiting the landscape. It was then, I was reminded that Nature had a message for me and I embarked on a physical and spiritual journey that would take me into different landscapes in Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia. I learned to listen to my intuitive messages, which I followed and trusted.
Quantum physics helped me appreciate the mystery and has confirmed that I can trust my personal perceptions. Since everything is a fluctuation of energy it appears we are not discreet bodies. Our perceived sense of connectedness appears closer to the truth than we have been able to rationalise. Some of the rules we understood, don’t apply in the scale of sub-atomic particles which behave very strangely compared to what we would normally expect. Cultural beliefs in the existence of alternate realities find some convergence of ideas in the recent scientific discoveries. It seems the further science advances, the more the mystery deepens.
In using my connection to nature I have become more aware of my spirit and of my ability to cultivate my percipience. The camera is there with me to interpret and respond. Combining the words from scientists and philosophical thinkers with my images, I hope to take you on a journey of possibilities and to open your mind to new perspectives.
